Our Favorite Sins

How do the Seven Deadly Sins stack up against each other in modern society? Lust appears in half the headlines at the check-out counter, but how often does the Enquirer print stories on "Kathy Lee's Covetousness Heartbreak"?

Seeking a little more quantitative data on the relative importance of the Sins in our world, some fellow surfers and I engaged in a little research. We ran searches for each of the Deadly Sins on popular engines at different times, and recorded the total number of results for each sin. Below are the results.
