When I found out a lot more people in my life had found this site, I decided to pull it all. I even started deleting files from the server. Then I stopped, thought for a while at my desk, and began methodically replacing the entries. For years I've been writing about what's important to me, and I think I've always shown respect and even admiration for the institutions I care about. Like the rescue squad, where a lot more people might be reading this soon. I write in part because I'm seldom able to fully express myself in the presence of others. I write in hopes of being seen and understood. If I'm not willing to let people come to know me this way, then why communicate at all?
